Eastern Anatolia Career Fair (DAKAF25) hosted by Van Yuzuncu Yil University and with the partnership of Igdir, Bitlis Eren, Hakkari, Muş Alparslan and Siirt Universities, opened its doors to visitors..
The opening of the fair held at Van EXPO Fair and Congress Center was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Van Governor and Deputy Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ozan Balcı, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma and rectors of stakeholder universities, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çelebi, TUZMER Director Sancar, public institution and organization managers, NGO presidents, business people and students.
At the fair, where universities, public and private sector organizations and professional chambers opened promotional stands, visitors showed great interest in the Iğdır University stand.
Iğdır University, which introduced the cosmetics, health, cleaning and handicraft products it produces at its stands, showed once again that it is a versatile university with its studies on first and emergency aid training, hydrogen water therapy, performance arts and salt therapy.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, who made statements at the fair area, said, “Organizations such as DAKAF25, organized with the support of the Presidency Human Resources Office, are of great importance in terms of strengthening university-industry cooperation and shedding light on the career journeys of our youth. As Iğdır University, we continue to contribute to our region and country with both our scientific and sectoral productions in line with this vision. It is a source of pride for us to take part in such events where our students can showcase their talents and the multifaceted structure of our university can be introduced.”
