Our University Held a Conference on "Development of Health Tourism".
A conference titled "Development of Health Tourism in Türkiye and the World" was organized at our university in order to address current developments in the field of health. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Gülşen, academic and administrative staff, and students attended the conference held in the Medico Social Building 8 September Martyrs Conference Hall. Assistant Professor Tekin Sancar was the speaker in the program. Within the scope of the program, the development process of health tourism both in our country and around the world, its economic effects, sectoral potential, and the difficulties encountered were discussed in detail. Stating that Turkey has become an important destination in health tourism, Dr. Sancar also touched on strategic opportunities and future predictions in the field. The program ended with a question-and-answer session.
